List Page

List Page 

A list page is the list of all the records which have been created for a module. The data which needs be shown on the list page can be configured. MDO provides a predefined list page for Vendor master but also has the option to set up custom list page for Vendor according to the business requirements 

To create a list page, follow the steps below:

  1. Login with administrator credentials. 
  2. Select the Settings icon at the top right corner on the Homepage.  
  3. Click the module Vendor from the left menu. 
  4. Click on List Page > Layouts 
  5. Click Add New View. 
  6. Enter the Template Name 
  7. Click Finish. 
  8. From Module Fields select Add against the fields to be added to the list page view.  
  9. Similarly, click on System Fields and Add the required fields. 
  10. Re-order the Selected fields using the Drag and Drop functionality. 
  11. Click Finish. 
  12. The List Page Templates screen will appear. Locate the created list pageMark the check box under Display Image Column. This will enable images to be uploaded against the records on the list page.  
  13. Click on Assign. 
  14. Select the roles to which you want to assign the list page to. 

 

MDO also provides the facility to create a list page view. List View can be created by the user (if the List View and List View Edit permission has been assigned to their role). 

To create a list view, follow the steps below:

  1. Login to MDO using your credentials.
  2. Click the module Vendor from the left menu. 
  3. The standard Vendor List page will appear. Select the View dropdown icon.  
  4. Click Add New View. 
  5. Enter the View Name. 
  6. From Module Fields select Add against the fields to be added to the list page view.  
  7. Similarly, click on System Fields and Add the required fields. 
  8. Re-order the Selected fields using the Drag and Drop functionality. 
  9. To make this view available to other users, select the Make Public field. 
  10. Click Finish. 
  11. The selected fields will be displayed on the list page. To retain this view as a default, simply select Set as Default against the view name in the view list.
